Sonakshi Sinha who had made no secret of her admiration for the Band Baaja Baaraat star Ranveer Singh, has finally bagged a film with the handsome actor. It’s been quite some time since Ranveer broke up with Anushka Sharma and the lad has been tom-tomming his single status. Sonakshi is not blasé to take no note. So we hear she has made special adjustments in her chock-a-block dates diary to accommodate a film with Ranveer.
The movie will be made by the Udaan director Vikramaditya Motwane. It will be jointly produced by Motwane, Anurag Kashyap, Madhu Mantena, and former UTV executive Vikas Bahl.
This will mark Ranveer’s departure from the Yashraj banner. His second film Ladies V/s Ricky Bahl with YRF is currently under production.
As for Sonakshi, she has her dates diary full till the end of next year. After Joker, she’s got a film with Shahid Kapoor, followed by another one with Ajay Devgan. And then there are two more films with her Dabangg co-star Salman Khan: Dabangg 2 and Kick.
So many projects left Sonakshi with hardly any time for a new film. But a film with Ranveer was surely tempting enough to call for some adjustment.
